This will be the first volunteering day at Woodland Heritage’s new demonstration site in Somerset. The site is currently a mix of abandoned, unproductive open ground and unmanaged woodland. Our plan is to develop it into a demonstration of the value of productive woodland. Planting will begin in the Autumn of 2023. Before this we need to prepare the ground.
