How Your Money is Spent
All gifts received help Woodland Heritage to work towards its vision of ‘A UK more self-sufficient in timber grown in healthy, well-managed woodlands that benefit people and wildlife.’
No matter the sum, gifts can make a real difference in helping our charity help others. For example, over the years we have helped countless young foresters and makers to develop their careers at a time when money has perhaps been tight for them, yet training could make a real difference. They have benefited from our grants and bursaries, current and recent examples of which can be viewed here.
A donation of whatever size will help our grants pot to grow so that we can continue to help others in the future, such as via a subsidised place on our popular and acclaimed Woodland to Workshop course. Your support also helps enable our support of scientific research, like investigations into Acute Oak Decline, helping to keep this most iconic of trees both in our woods but also providing wood for us to use.
