Wood Culture

We have lived alongside trees for hundreds of thousands of years, and our futures are intertwined. Wood culture is inherently circular and represents the interconnectivity between people and wood. It celebrates our deep respect and ancient understanding of trees and timber.

Wood culture builds on the wisdom and skills of the past to honour home-grown timber. It connects people who grow trees, process and use wood. Wood culture means timber being used to create the beautiful items and spaces that offer longevity, functionality and joy.

This endeavour lifts people up, nurturing both the land and our wood culture.

FIELD WEEKENDS

The Field Weekends are remarkable opportunities for behind-the-scenes access and insight at estates, locations and businesses not usually open to the public. A warm, welcoming atmosphere creates an entertaining, educational and enlightening day!
