The Woodland Heritage Trustees commissioned Gudrun Leitz to add the final touches to their much-admired "cruck" at the Castle Howard Arboretum.
This Social Enterprise based in the Forest of Dean, was formed to create a local supply of sustainably sourced timber for 62 local wood users.

Of all furniture, chairs are perhaps the most varied, personal and taken for granted items.
This was the theme for the exhibition at the Great Yorkshire Show in July 2003. The aim being to present as many items made from timber grown in British and European managed forests.
